AVØRA
Founded in 2023, AVØRA is a 5 member acapella group based in Bismarck, North Dakota. We are dedicated to creating powerful musical experiences. AVØRA thrives on harmonizing and connecting with our audience through our diverse range of performances and original music. We are bringing a unique sound to central North Dakota and beyond. With our passion for music, we aim to bring the community together through the art of vocal performance and share our love for singing with everyone.
Meet the Team
Rachel
Soprano
Rachel was born and raised in North Dakota and graduated from the University of Mary. After spending some time in the Twin Cities area, she is back and still making music!
Rachel is brilliant with rhythm and also brings our jazz influence to AVØRA.
Rachel is raising four children and is teaching all of them to be great singers too!

Alto
Rachel grew up in Aberdeen South Dakota and graduated from the University of Mary as well as the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
Rachel made the move back to Bismarck working at a Montessori School and works with Canticle Productions.
Rachel is so delighted to be making music with her favorite people.
Dominick
Tenor
Dominck is form North Dakota and graduated form the University of Mary.
Dominick now runs a Pharmacy in Bismarck.
He is very passionate and inspires AVØRA to reach new goals with innovative ideas. Dominicks musicality and entreprenureship is is unmatched.
Josef
Bass
Josef is originally from Washington state and has remained in Bismarck after his graduation from the University of Mary.
Josef is an electrical engineer
and his lighthearted nature brings the fun to rehearsal.
Kolbe
Vocal Percussion
Kolbe hails from California originally but he has made a life in Bismarck after his time at the University of Mary. Kolbe has three children.
He is a Math and Music teacher.
Kolbe arranges music for AVØRA and keeps us all in tune!
Nate
Sound Engenieer
Originally from Montana Nate works for the Univeristy of Mary when he isn't working with AVØRA. Nate is an incredible sound engineer, his expertise is the final touch that makes the AVØRA sound. He has two children and is in a band of his own!
